
Compressed Natural Gas (CNG)
Tan Health has ventured into the Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) sector as CNG provides a cleaner alternative to petrol and traditional gas to power factories and fuel vehicles. Tan Health intend to encourage the community as well as commercial drivers to convert their vehicles from petrol to CNG which is a cheaper and healthier alternative to the environment.
Both The Ministry of Energy and Minerals have confirmed they discovered natural gas reserves amount to 57.25 trillion standard cubic feet (TCF) In Tanzania.
Why CNG?
Eco-Friendly
CNG is an eco-friendly fuel gas made from compressed natural gas (methane).
Safer
CNG is safer than gasoline and diesel, and it reduces carbon emissions by 90 to 97 per cent and is used in traditional petrol/internal combustion engine vehicles that have been modified for CNG use.
